Inverawe walks
 |
Inverawe walks are natural walks made by the locals enjoying the country surroundings.
Take a walk along the nature trail. A lovely short walk through the surrounding woods and lochs, with lots of paths and tracks for children to run along. Look out for the hidden slide and fort as you go, be sure to tread quietly as you pass the fairy tree!
Walk through the field down to the riverside as you walk on the banks of the river between May and August watch out for the sandmartins on the opposite bank, just beyond the swing bridge. On a sunny day this is the perfect, peaceful walk. |
If you’re looking for a longer walk I would recommend the Loch Etive walk, the residents of Inverawe refer this to as ‘down to the loch’. You will get wonderful views of Loch Etive, hundreds of rabbits for the kids to spot and you will always see some bird life on the loch side.
Please remember to shut all gates. Dogs are welcome on all our walks but please keep them on a lead as there are sheep around.
